How long does it take to make a song?

Most Melogram lyrics are generated in under 90 seconds, with full song creation typically taking 2–3 minutes. From the moment you hit “generate,” the entire process usually takes around 5 minutes. In some cases, it may take a bit longer if the service is busy, but you’ll see real-time progress updates on screen throughout.

Personalisation

How personal is it really?

Very. The lyrics are written from the details you give us, such as their name, the occasion, a story or memory, and their personality. The song is composed and sung from scratch in the style you choose. It's not a template with a name swapped in, it is a completely unique, deeply personal creation.

Styles

What genres can I pick?

Pop, rock, hip-hop, country, folk, R&B, indie, electronic, and more. If your preferred genre isn’t listed, you can simply enter it in a custom field, we’ll still tailor the music to match your choice. You can pick the genre and a rough vibe (happy, heartfelt, funny, chill) and we handle the musical details.

Previews

Can I hear it before I send it?

Yes. You can review both the lyrics and the finished song privately before sharing it with anyone. If the lyrics aren’t quite right, you’ll have the option to edit them or generate new ones before the song is created. You can also choose to recreate the song if it’s not exactly how you want it (depending on your package.)

Sharing

How do I send the song?

Every Melogram comes with its own unique, shareable link. You can share it however you like—text, WhatsApp, email, and more. When the recipient opens the link, they’ll see a card and can play the song instantly, with no account or app required.

Downloads

Can they download the MP3?

Yes. The song page has a download button - the recipient (or you) can save the MP3 and keep it forever (depending on your package.)

Revisions

What if I don't like the song?

You can revise the lyrics before the song is created. If the finished song isn’t quite right, you’ll have the option to generate another version (depending on your package). If you’re still not happy, just reach out to hello@melogram.co.uk and we’ll help make it right.

Privacy

Is the story I share private?

Yes. The details you give us are used to make the song and nothing else. We don't sell your data or use it for any other purpose. Full details are on our privacy page.

Occasions

Is it only for birthdays?

No absolutely not. Anniversaries, weddings, new babies, graduations, retirements, or just a random nice message. Any time you might send a card, a Melogram works.
