  • Deliver your Melogram to you

  • Contract – to create and deliver your Melogram
  • Legitimate interests – to operate, secure, and improve our service

How your data is used in song creation.

Your story and inputs are:

  • Processed automatically to generate your song
  • Stored temporarily in our database
  • Not routinely reviewed manually, except where needed for customer support, troubleshooting, legal compliance, or security
  • Not reused or repurposed by Melogram for marketing or unrelated purposes

They are used only for the purpose of creating your Melogram.

How long we keep your data.

We retain your data for 30 days from the time of creation so you can access your Melogram.

After this period:

  • Your data is automatically deleted

We may retain limited information for longer where necessary for security, legal obligations, or resolving disputes.

You can request earlier deletion at any time.

Who helps us run Melogram.

We use trusted third-party providers to operate Melogram, including:

  • Supabase (database and storage)
  • AI service providers for lyrics and music generation, such as OpenAI and music generation APIs

We share your data with these providers only as needed to provide the service. They process data under their own terms and policies and, where applicable, on our behalf.

Payment processing, when implemented, will be handled by providers such as:

  • Stripe
  • PayPal

These payment providers act as independent data controllers for payment data.

When data may leave the UK.

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK.

Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as:

  • UK adequacy regulations
  • Standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards

How we use cookies.

We use:
